About Gialamas

History
Owner and president of The Gialamas Company since 1975, George Gialamas has long been an active member of the Madison community and a strong supporter of economic development. He has been instrumental in a number of major commercial and residential developments in Madison, and in helping national and international firms relocate to the area.

An appointee to the Governor's Council on Economic Issues since 1990, George has served on the boards of numerous community and business organizations, ranging from the American Red Cross and Boy Scouts of America to the Madison Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Rotary Club, Meriter Foundation, and various private corporations.

Old Sauk Trails Park
Created in 1986 by The Gialamas Company, Inc. this distinctive business and research park offers an enriched working environment in a beautiful, natural setting. Old Sauk Trails offers the best elements of city and country. Located on 446 acres of Wisconsin countryside, its peaceful, campus-like design preserves much of the natural terrain. A generous amount of dedicated green space with jogging and walking trails offers employees a chance to exercise, relax, enjoy the changing seasons and generally refresh their minds during breaks.

Yet the park is entirely within the City of Madison, offering easy access to and from all parts of town via the West Beltline Highway, Old Sauk Road, and Pleasant View Road. Madison Metro bus service make the location even more convenient for employees. Other amenities include a day care center, fiber optics, quality lodging, wide and well-lit roadways, ample parking for employees and visitors, and direct, high-speed Internet access. Nationwide experience shows that this type of business climate raises employee morale and loyality, sharpens skills and creativity, and generally increases productivity.
" Working with the Gialamas Company is an outstanding experience.  They live up to their promise, building a quality structure, and then are responsive when needed to assure it stays that way.  Although there are many tenants in the Gialamas buildings in Old Sauk Trails Park, we are treated like we are the only one.  It's refreshing to get what was promised in terms of quality and service."
